Luca Ferrari has been passionate about computer science since the days of the Commodore 64. A dedicated Unix user and strong advocate for open source, Luca actively contributes to various projects in his free time. He first encountered PostgreSQL with version 7.3 and went on to become a founder and former president of the Italian PostgreSQL Community (ITPUG). Luca is a regular speaker at technical conferences and events and also provides professional training.

Enrico Pirozzi, certified by EnterpriseDB in implementation, management, and tuning, holds a master's degree in computer science and has been a PostgreSQL DBA since 2003. He has been training others on PostgreSQL since 2008. A long-time supporter of open source technology, Enrico co-founded the PostgreSQL Italian mailing list, PostgreSQL-it, and the PostgreSQL Italian community site, PSQL.
